Let us share with you some details about this autopilot’s performance.

The Garmin GFC™ 600H is a cost-effective Advanced Flight Control System that provides a number of features to enhance safety, stability and control during helicopter operations. On top of that, the GFC™ 600H allows 2-axis and 3-axis configurations. It was specifically designed to reduce the pilot’s workload during flight. As you know, flying a helicopter is a very demanding and often tiring activity. With the Garmin GFC™ 600H, pilots will generally feel less stressed in complicated situations, therefore, all crew will have a safer flight. 

Key features of this Flight Control System include:

• Autopilot functions: This allows precise navigation and altitude control. Thanks to the GFC™ 600H, the helicopter is able to automatically maintain altitude, heading and airspeed.
• Stability and safety enhancements
• Flight director: The flight director aids in flight planning and precision control. It provides guidance cues to the pilot for attaining desired flight paths, altitudes and airspeeds.
• Compatibility: Garmin GFC™ 600H is compatible with other Garmin avionic products such as the Garmin G500H and Garmin G5000H flight displays. 
• Hover assist mode: Automatically detects hover and provides inputs to maintain position.
